The Youth Ministry Team and myself are putting together an amazing retreat in June. We hope all of you can join us from Friday, June 13-Sunday, June 15. This retreat will take place at Camp Davis, a United Methodist camp about 20 minutes down the road from Dutilh. The retreat is set up to be a casual, relaxing time to strengthen relationships with each other and with God. We will be the only group there to enjoy campfires and s’mores, movies, games, a guest speaker, and many outdoor activities (maybe even a game of Capture the Flag throughout the 20+ acre Camp). The lodge we will be staying in is fantastic! Great beds and showers, huge windows with amazing views, a massive kitchen, and a Great Room complete with a stone fireplace. We will be leaving the church parking lot at 5:30pm Friday, and arrive back at the church at about 12:30pm on Sunday (just enough time for you to take your Dad out to dinner for Father’s Day!). The best part is the cost. The cost for this retreat is only $30 if you register by May 19. The final deadline for registration is June 9, with a cost of $35. To register for this awesome trip, turn in your money and permission form (enclosed in this newsletter) to Doug Raraigh by the above dates. Since the camp is so close and easy to find, don’t worry about needs of arriving late or leaving early if you have a scheduling conflict...it can be easily done!
