We were created to glorify and Worship God. We help students discover how to Honor God in their everyday lives. One of the primary ways to Worship, or Honor God...is with our lifestyle. We can choose to Worship God with the choices we make in our everyday life.
We are also called to Worship God cooperatley, as a group. At Dutilh Youth Ministry, we offer a worship service for teens called, sundays@six. This service meets every Sunday night at 6pm during the school year.

We were made to Connect in relationships with God and with other believers. God has "hard-wired" us for relationships. At Life4Youth Ministries, we have a small group program, Acts2 Small Groups, dedicated to helping students Connect in these relationships through Fellowship.
We know that there is no better way to "jump-start" or "re-connect" in your relationship with God and with other believers than at a weekend retreat. We have designed our Fall Retreats to help students do just that.

God created us to Grow spiritually. This is a process called Discipleship that never ends. In our youth ministry, we encourage students to develop Spiritual Disciplines, or HABITS: Hang-Time with God, Accountability, Bible Memorization, Involvement in Church, Tithing, and Study Scripture.
Students are encouraged to learn these HABITS by taking part in different Biblical studies during our Acts2 Small Group program during the school year.

God made us to Serve. He has specifically designed all of us in a unique SHAPE to Serve Him and His people in Ministry. God gives us Spiritual Gifts when we begin a relationship with Him. He has given us a Heart, or passion for things in this life. He has given us Abilities, a Personality, and Experiences. All of these things make up our SHAPE.
There are many opportunities for to Serve within our youth ministry. Students may Serve on our Student Leadership Team, which meets regularly to learn how to lead and to make important decisions that guide the direction of our ministry. Students may Serve in our Youth Band, which leads us in Worship every Sunday Night. Students may Serve by singing in our Youth Choir, or being involved in the church's Music Ministry. Students may Serve on the Media Ministry Team, learning how to design and execute Power Points, Graphics, and various video and audio projects. Students may Serve in various aspects of our church's Children's Ministry. Students may Serve in our church's Kitchen Ministry. All of these ministries fall into our program, Project: TIMothy.
There are also oppurtunities for students to Serve during our two largest service events. Students may attend our Mission Trip that we host each summer to extend a hand of help to the least, the last, and the lost in different places throughout the world. Students may participate in our 30-Hour Famine. During the famine, students participate in a weekend full of fun and service projects all while raising money for starving people all over the world.

We were made to Reach out to people, and share God's story and our story with them. When we share how God has changed our lives with people, we Evangelize, and that is what it is all about.
In our youth ministry, we design events to help students do that. With just an invitation to a friend to be a part of what we do, students have an opportunity to be a part of their friends' lives being changed forever. We have at least one different event each month that make it easy for students to invite their friend to be a part of what we do. To find out more about these events, click "upcoming events" in the menu bar on the left. In addition to these events, we have a Fall Kickoff and a Spring Kickoff that "kickoff" our ministry for the Fall and Spring semesters. These events are HUGE. We pull all of our resources to put on an amazing all-day or all-night event that will help students get their friend involved in youth ministry.

Imagine that you wake up one morning in the middle of the desert with no understanding of how to get home...now, imagine that someone came by with a map showing different places to stop, get rested, have something to eat, and then continue on your journey home. Dutilh Youth Ministries uses this “game of life” much in the same way, a map to guide our students to spiritual maturity. Everything our ministry does is done with a purpose. We wish to help students discover their purpose, the one God has created them for.
As you journey through our ministry and along the life-map, evaluate your relationship with God and use our programs to discover your purpose and to strengthen your relationship with God. Maybe you are just beginning...just getting to know God for the first time. Maybe you are learning what it is to connect in real relationships with other Christians. Maybe you have decided to learn more about God’s Word and practice Spiritual Disciplines in your daily life with Him. Perhaps you feel that you are ready to give Jesus all of yourself; you wish to love him by serving his people. No matter where you are in your faith, there is a place for you here.
As you make your way around the map, know that there is no hurry...there is no beginning or end to this journey. Move at your own pace. Challenge yourself to take risks...join Small Groups, Bible Studies, volunteer through various Service Opportunities, or even attend that retreat everyone has been talking about. Your journey is between you and God...we just want to help you along the way.
